New WFO AWE Podcast Episodes Out - Two conversations I think every woman should hear
Aloha WFO Community!
We just released two new episodes of the AWE Experience Podcast, and I genuinely believe they belong together.
Both ask the same question from different directions:
What happens when the systems we're expected to rely on weren't designed with women fully in mind?
In Episode 5, I sit down with Dr. Kelly Chandler, whose research explores work-family justice. We talk about authenticity, leadership, motherhood, workplace culture, and why so many of our ideas about "work-life balance" were built on systems that have never worked equally for everyone. It's a conversation about what justice at work could actually look like.
In Episode 6, I have an honest conversation with Dr. Jennifer Lincoln, an OB/GYN who has dedicated her career to helping women understand their bodies and advocate for their health. We discuss everything from shame and self-advocacy to the realities of navigating a healthcare system that has too often overlooked women's experiences.
At the Women's Foundation of Oregon, we believe rest creates the space to dream, and dreaming creates the ideas that build a more just future. But dreaming also requires truth. We have to be willing to name the systems that aren't serving us before we can imagine something better.
Whether you're leading a team, raising a family, caring for others, navigating your own health, or simply trying to make sense of the world, I hope you'll spend some time with these conversations.
And if they resonate with you, I'd love for you to share them with someone else. That's how movements grow, one meaningful conversation at a time.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.

Rest is strategy. Dreaming is data. The future is ours to imagine together.
