The Women's Foundation of Oregon is seeking applicants to participate on a Research Advisory Group, supporting the work to update the ground-breaking 2017 Count Her In resource.
WFO's Research Committee is in the middle of a four-year process to build a broader knowledge resource that can shape policy and services that make the lives of women and girls better. Your perspective, lived experience, and/or professional expertise reviewing the work of the research committee will help ensure that we acknowledge and consider multiple identities and collective wisdom of our communities.
Research Advisory Group Members will be asked to review elements of the Research Committee's work (timeline, research format, interim drafts and final project products/deliverables) in a timely manner at key points throughout the process.
Research Advisory Group members may also be instrumental in connecting the Research Committee to key groups, interested parties, communities, and individuals throughout the research process.
They are encouraged to aid in the collection of resources (material, financial or human) and assist in the avoidance of anticipated, potential pitfalls.
Participation will be primarily online and will not require in-person meetings.
Research project management, monitoring and execution of the project will follow the requirements and standards set forth by the Research Committee and Women’s Foundation of Oregon leadership.
