Why wfo?
The Women’s Foundation of Oregon (WFO) supports the vast and immediate needs of the non-profit sector. Focusing on organizations and programs that prioritize gender justice-based work. WFO recognizes historically dismissed underserved communities due to systemic oppression, often based on specific identities such as race/ethnicity or gender. Employing a trust-based approach based in strong relationships and low-barrier, grantee-centered processes opens opportunities for many who may not otherwise have had access to philanthropy. WFO has grantee partners in 23 Oregon counties, many of which find value in a relationship that goes far beyond the check.
